Aluminium Alu 5356 is a versatile TIG filler rod designed for welding aluminum-magnesium alloys, making it ideal for applications such as:

Recommended Welding Parameters
- Diameter 1.6mm: 60-100A AC
- Diameter 2.0mm: 80-120A AC
- Diameter 2.4mm: 100-150A AC
- Diameter 3.2mm: 140-180A AC
- Polarity: AC with high-frequency stabilization and balanced wave

Arc Electrode rods (rough finish coating) are 300mm in length.
Tig filler rods (non arc) are sold in two formats;
- Packs of (x10, x20, x30, x40, x50, x100) are cut down from trade 1m lengths to 333mm. This is to reduce postage costs.
- 1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg are 1m, 1000mm original length.
