SifSilcopper No. 985 is a specialized TIG filler rod designed for joining copper and copper alloys, making it ideal for applications such as:
- Copper Materials: Pure copper, deoxidized copper, and copper alloys
- Copper to Brass Joining: Excellent for joining dissimilar copper alloys
- Plumbing Systems: Water pipes, fittings, and sanitary installations
- Refrigeration & HVAC: Copper tubing, heat exchangers, and refrigeration lines
- Electrical Applications: Bus bars, electrical connections, and power distribution components
- Industrial Equipment: Heat exchangers, process equipment, and copper vessels

Arc Electrode rods (rough finish coating) are 300mm in length.
Tig filler rods (non arc) are sold in two formats;
- Packs of (x10, x20, x30, x40, x50, x100) are cut down from trade 1m lengths to 333mm. This is to reduce postage costs.
- 1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg are 1m, 1000mm original length.
