ER308L is a versatile stainless steel TIG filler rod designed for welding austenitic stainless steels, making it ideal for applications such as:

Recommended Shielding Gases
- TIG Welding: EN ISO 14175 – I1 (Pure Argon)
- For Thicker Materials:
- M12 (Argon + 1-5% CO₂) – Improved penetration for thicker sections
- M13 (Argon + 1-3% O₂) – Enhanced wetting and bead appearance

Arc Electrode rods (rough finish coating) are 300mm in length.
Tig filler rods (non arc) are sold in two formats;
- Packs of (x10, x20, x30, x40, x50, x100) are cut down from trade 1m lengths to 333mm. This is to reduce postage costs.
- 1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg are 1m, 1000mm original length.
